At 11th kms from Katra is an enchanting pilgrim spot Baba Dhansar where a spring of cool and crystal clear water Karua Jheel gushing out of the mountain side touching a small housing a naturally formed Shivlingam. The place is named after Dhansar the son of Vasudev (the other name for Lord Shiva’s serpent Sheshnag) who saved the people of the area from a demon who had been tormenting them.
Facilities Available: Parking, Shelter sheds, View Points, Bathing Ghat, washrooms, dormitories, langar houses, landscaped area. Private eat points are also available.
